Frank De Lima releases the tune “The Vaccination” for Hawaii’s coronavirus incentive marketing campaign

Comedian Frank De Lima released a new jingle for Hawaii’s vaccination campaign today.

De Lima’s “The Vaccination,” sung to the tune of “The Loco-Motion,” tells everyone about the chance of getting around with round trips, a $ 1,000 shopping spree at the Pearl City Shopping Center, a year-long car lease from AutoSource Hawaii to win .

“Come on. Log in. Sign up. Sit back,” he sings. “Your name may be pulled out of your hat … but first you have to get vaccinated … so come on, come on, get the vaccination for free . “

The incentive campaign, which was launched on June 4th, gives adults who receive a vaccination here by June 30th the opportunity to register for raffles, including round-trip tickets, gift cards and food. The raffles are also open to people who were vaccinated before this month.

Prizes include 100,000 HawaiianMiles for 10 winners, round-trip tickets from Alaska Airlines, Southwest Airlines – and now American Airlines.

So far, more than 217,100 people have registered for the chance to win, announced the organizers.

The campaign’s first two winners were announced on Wednesday – Elaine Nishiura of Hilo won 100,000 HawaiianMiles courtesy of Hawaiian Airlines and Mark Matsuo of Honolulu won two round-trip tickets from Alaska Airlines.

The names of five new winners were drawn today, organizers announced and will be announced next week once their vaccination status is verified. Dozens of companies are also offering deals and discounts this month for those who show their vaccination cards.

Anyone 18 years of age or older who has had at least one COVID-19 vaccination in the state of Hawaii can attend before June 30th.
