The surf will slowly sink along the south-facing coasts from Wednesday night to Friday, with only a small background surf expected this weekend. Expect moderate, choppy surf along the east-facing coast today. A downtrend in the surf along the east-facing coasts is expected from Wednesday through the second half of this week. A small swell in the northwest will create small surf along most of the north-facing coastline today, with a return to typical flat summer conditions Wednesday through this weekend.
