A series of small swells in the south will remain close to slightly below normal surf on the south-facing banks through Thursday. South coast surf could pick up slightly towards the end of the week and over the weekend as a couple of new overlapping south and south-southwest swells creep through it.

The current northwest swell will slowly tend upward through Tuesday, giving surfing along the north and west coasts a boost. After peaking on Tuesday, those swell will trend lower from Wednesday to Friday, with north coast surf likely to flatten over the weekend.

Surfing along the east-facing coastlines will remain very small through Tuesday and then trend upward on Wednesday through the weekend as trade over and upstream of the islands increases.
