A series of long south swells will continue to spread over the area into the next week, keeping the surf along the south-facing coastline near or above the summer average. The latest guidance suggests that surf along the south-facing coasts should gradually increase by early next week, and surf heights will likely be near the High Surf Advisory sill along the south-facing coast by late Saturday through Monday Reach climax. The surf is then expected to gradually subside along the south-facing coastlines from late Monday to mid-next week. Surfing along the north coast will remain very small this weekend. A series of small swells in the northwest is likely to add surf heights along most of the north and west facing coasts from Sunday night to mid-next week. Ultimately, the weaker trade wind regime will mean that the surf heights along the east coasts will remain slightly below seasonal values by the middle of next week.
