The current south swell, which is creating surf above the recommended level, will gradually subside until tomorrow. A few more swells in the southern hemisphere will create small surf along the south-facing banks in the second half of the week. A new northwest swell will create small surf along the north and west coasts by tomorrow, with another small northwest swell expected on Wednesday. Weak trade winds will maintain a small surf on the east-facing banks until the middle of the week. Surfing along the east-facing coasts may pick up a bit in the second half of the week as the winds off California get stronger.
