Hawaii Experiences three Further COVID Deaths; 44 new instances

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The state reported three more COVID deaths on Friday, bringing the death toll from the virus in Hawaii to 510.

There were also 44 new COVID infections nationwide.

Of the new cases, 16 were on Oahu, 15 on Maui, nine on the Big Island, and one on Kauai. Three residents outside of the state were also diagnosed.

In the past 14 days, there have been 660 new cases across the state, according to the DOH.

Meanwhile, the state announced it had administered 1,637,582 doses of vaccine. About 56% of all residents are fully vaccinated, while 61% have received at least one dose.
