Hawaii Olympians compete within the surf quarterfinals, water polo and rugby

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – After an action-packed weekend, the competition in Tokyo continues on Monday – with several Hawaiian Olympians taking center stage.

Here’s how you can watch:

– men’s basketball

Team Japan, including Hawaii’s Hugh Hogland, will face Team Spain in the men’s basketball pool game on Monday.

Stream the action live online from 2 a.m. with a TV provider login or in streaming apps (see below for more details).

– Surfing (quarter finals)

Team USA’s Carissa Moore will be back in the water for the women’s quarter-finals on Monday.

Unfortunately, John John Florence from Hawaii did not make it into the quarterfinals of the men and lost in round three to his teammate Kolohe Andino.

Watch Moore hit the waves live online from 3:36 p.m.

– Men’s rugby

Hawaii’s own Martin Iosefo is on Team USA for rugby.

And on Monday he will go onto the field in the pool game Team USA vs. South Africa.

The action starts at 4:30 p.m. See them live on KHNL or online.

– Water polo

Team USA, including Jesse Smith from Hawaii, will face South Africa on Monday.
