HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Hawaii reported 104 new COVID cases on Saturday, bringing the total number of cases since the pandemic started to 36,975.
There have been no further fatalities since then. The death toll from the virus remains at 506.
Of the new cases, 33 were on Oahu, 46 on the Island of Hawaii, one on Kauai and 18 on Maui. Six residents outside of the state were also diagnosed.
In the past 14 days, there have been 788 new cases across the state, according to the DOH.
So far, the state said it had given 1,592,739 doses of vaccine. About 54% of all residents are fully vaccinated, 60% have received at least one dose.
