Hawaii studies 80 new COVID circumstances on Thursday

The Hawaii Department of Health reported 80 new cases of coronavirus on Thursday. The nationwide total is now 35,665. No new COVID-related deaths have been reported.

According to DOH statistics, three new cases of the virus were identified on the Big Island on Thursday. The state’s two-week average is 80 new cases daily with a test positive rate of 1.5%.

The number of cases from island to island is as follows:

O’ahu: 26,030
Maui: 3,585
Hawaii: 2,773
Kauai: 310
Lanai: 112
Moloka’i: 49
Outstanding: 0
Outside the state: 1,147

Since the pandemic began, 2,279 people have been hospitalized for a COVID-19 infection and at least 492 have died.
