Hawaiian flags midway via after mass shootings in San Jose

On instructions from the President of the United States, Governor David Ige has ordered that the United States flag and the state flag of Hawaii be hoisted in the state capitol and in all state offices and agencies during the half-occupation of the Hawaiian National Guard in the state of Hawaii from now until sunset on Sunday , May 30, 2021.

This action is a token of respect for the victims of the mass shootings in San Jose, California.

“I join our nation in mourning the victims of this pointless tragedy. On behalf of the State of Hawaii, I offer my deepest condolences to the families of the victims, the Valley Transportation Authority community and the City of San Jose, ”said Governor Ige.
