Rainbow Wahine soccer defeated Hawaii Pacific 1-Zero of their last exhibition recreation

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The University of Hawaii Rainbow Wahine soccer team remains undefeated in their two game days, beating metropolitan rivals Hawaii Pacific 1-0 on Sunday at Lower Manoa Field.

The only goal was scored by junior Kelci Sumida, who won in the 53.

Sumida wins the upper hand over twin sister Kaylee, who plays the defender of the sharks.

After Hawaii remained unbeaten in the preseason, Hawaii will open the regular season next week with the Outrigger Soccer Kickoff on Friday against North Texas and on Sunday against South Dakota State.

For HPU, the sharks will meet the Coyotes on September 1st.
