Chef and restaurateur Alan Wong is the first guest on Where Hawaii Eats, which debuts today.
A new weekly TV show, “Where Hawaii Eats”, launches today at 8pm on KFVE-TV and features interviews with local chefs from Hawaii’s top restaurants.
The show, a collaboration between the Honolulu Star Advertiser and It’s a Hawaii Thing Productions, is hosted by Anne Lee and is an extension of the Dining Out section in the Star Advertiser’s Sunday editions.
Lee will speak to local chefs about their careers, knowledge, and the differences that make Hawaii’s unique cuisine and food culture. On today’s debut, Lee is interviewing chef and restaurateur Alan Wong.
“I look forward to supporting the local restaurant industry and serving the best restaurants in Hawaii,” said Lee.
The show airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on KFVE, Saturdays at 1:30 p.m. on KHNL and Hawaii’s Spanish-language Telemundo channel.
Enhanced versions will also be available on the Where Hawaii Eats YouTube channel, as well as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Google.
